These Terms govern your use of psychro.pro and any services you order from us. Psychro.pro is operated by Axion Strategic Holdings Inc., 5900 Balcones Drive STE 100, Austin, TX 78731 ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to these Terms.
We prepare building energy and HVAC compliance documentation, including ACCA Manual J load calculations, Manual D duct design, Manual S equipment selection, Manual N commercial load calculations, REScheck and COMcheck reports, and state-specific compliance documentation for Florida R405, Washington WSEC and California Title 24, together with related services described on the site.
Our reports are prepared from the plans, specifications and project information you supply. You are responsible for:
Reports prepared from incomplete or inaccurate information may be incorrect. Revisions required because supplied information was wrong or changed are chargeable.
We do not provide engineer-sealed or stamped documents. Psychro.pro prepares compliance documentation and calculations using recognised methodologies and current code requirements. We do not offer professional engineer (PE) sealing, stamping, or certification of any report, and no report we issue carries a professional seal.
Our services do not constitute licensed engineering, architectural or design services, and no engineer–client or architect–client relationship is created. We do not act as the engineer or designer of record for your project.
If your jurisdiction requires a sealed or stamped submittal, you will need a licensed professional engineer to review, seal and take responsibility for the documentation. Requirements vary by state, jurisdiction and project type — it is your responsibility to confirm what your authority having jurisdiction requires before ordering. We are happy to tell you whether we believe stamping is likely to be required, but that is guidance only and not a determination.
Code interpretation varies between jurisdictions and individual plan reviewers. We do not guarantee that any authority having jurisdiction will approve a permit application. Where a report is rejected because of an error on our part, our obligation is to correct that error under clause 6. Rejection because a submittal required a professional seal is not an error on our part and is not covered.
Prices are shown on the site and confirmed at checkout. Payment is due in full before work begins unless we agree otherwise in writing. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
Stated turnaround times are estimates and run from the time we have received full payment and all information required to begin work. Where urgent or same-day delivery is purchased, the applicable surcharge is shown at checkout. Turnaround times are not guaranteed where plans are incomplete, unclear, or where we are waiting on information from you.
If a report contains an error attributable to us, or is rejected by the authority having jurisdiction because of such an error, we will correct and re-issue it at no charge, provided you notify us within 30 days of delivery and supply the reviewer's comments.
Revisions arising from changes to the project, changes to the plans after submission, or information not provided to us at the time of the order, are chargeable at our then-current rates.
You retain all rights in the plans and documents you supply. On receipt of full payment, you receive a licence to use the completed report for the project it was prepared for, including submission to authorities. Reports may not be resold, redistributed, or reused on other projects. We retain rights in our own templates, methodologies and materials.
We treat project files and information you provide as confidential and use them only to deliver your order, except where disclosure is required by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including permit delays, construction delays, lost profits, or costs of rework, however arising.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, our services are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Cancellation and refund arrangements are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and the courts of Travis County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law rules.
We may update these Terms. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
